Wimpy's Place has been serving burgers, sandwiches, Coney dogs, hot dogs, kielbasa, and breakfast since 1987.  Our hamburgers have zero trans fat.  Each burger is hand made to assure freshness.  Add some onion rings, French fries, chili fries, chili cheese fries, fried mushrooms, or some soup to complete your meal.  Like desserts?  No problem!  Try some of our apple or cherry pie.  We also offer Raspberry Cheese Danishes and cinnamon rolls.  Remember the old fashioned floats and shakes?  We make and serve them right in front of you!  Our scrumptious banana nut, blueberry, and bran muffins will have your taste buds watering.  Wimpy's Place serves up breakfast starting at 7:00 AM.  Enjoy sitting inside in a booth, at the counter or out doors under the covered patio area.  Our breakfasts include eggs cooked to order, bacon, ham, sausage or turkey sausage whichever you prefer.  Does pancakes entice you more?  How about French Toast?  We also have oatmeal, cereal, Danish rolls, cinnamon rolls, or a Wimpy Muffin.  What's a Wimpy Muffin you ask?  It consists of an egg, meat, and cheese on a muffin.  Bagels and cream cheese is always a favorite.  Breakfast is served until 11:00 AM.  For those of you who prefer a bigger meal, we offer cod fish and fries, chicken tenders, shrimp baskets, and hot chic bites with fries.  Wednesday is Coney Day.  Enjoy it with mustard, onions, and chili.  Once you've had one, you will probably order a second one!  Our burgers and Coney dogs taste so good that people drive for miles just to come and sit while enjoy some good friend, some laughs, and of course.....a little attitude!  We also offer special carry out rates such as 6 hamburgers for $8.73, 6 cheeseburgers for $9.91, or 6 Coney's for 9.91.

We serve up burgers and Coney's Friday nights in July and August at the harbor during Music In the Park.   Watch the freighters and sail boats go by while listening to the one of the bands like Caribbean Blue, the Raisin Pickers, Hotel California, or Steve King and the Dittilies.   Stop by and meet Jim (Wimpy), Cindy, Andrew and Eric Gresock.  Wimpy's Place is a family owned restaurant in downtown Lexington.
